Miami Beach yacht rentals depart from Miami Beach Marina (300 Alton Rd, just off the MacArthur Causeway) — a 4-minute walk from Sunset Harbour and a 6-minute Uber from Lincoln Road. Charters run 4, 6, or 8 hours and start at $550/hr. The Star Island & Palm/Hibiscus celebrity-homes loop is the most popular Miami Beach route, followed by the Stiltsville run and the Key Biscayne sandbar.
Miami Beach Marina is the easiest pickup point if you're staying anywhere south of 41st Street. Parking is $5/hr surface lot; valet runs $20 flat. The slip is a 30-second walk from the dock entrance, and you're in open water (Government Cut → Atlantic) within 8 minutes — versus 25–35 minutes from Coconut Grove or Sea Isle on a busy Saturday.
Star Island loop (1.5 hr): Past Diddy, Shaq, Gloria Estefan and the Palm/Hibiscus mansions. Sandbar runs (3+ hr): Anchor at the Nixon sandbar off Key Biscayne for swim, paddleboards, and floating-mat lounging. Stiltsville (2 hr): The 1930s-era stilt houses south of Cape Florida. Sunset cruise (2 hr): Government Cut → south past Fisher Island as the city lights come up.
