Why depart from Brickell

Brickell sits right on Biscayne Bay, so the closest marinas (the Venetian Marina and the Aston Martin Residences Marina) are minutes away by car or even walkable from the bayfront condos.

The route out passes the downtown skyline, the Venetian Islands, and Star Island before opening into the bay — a skyline backdrop you don't get departing from the Grove or up north. It's the natural pickup for guests at the Four Seasons, SLS Brickell, JW Marriott, or anyone working downtown who wants to be on the water by lunch.

Skyline & islands loop (1.5 hr): downtown towers → Venetian Islands → Star/Palm/Hibiscus celebrity homes.

Sandbar run (3+ hr): south to the Nixon sandbar off Key Biscayne for swim and paddleboards. Sunset cruise (2 hr): out through Government Cut as the Brickell and downtown lights come up — the best skyline photography window of the day.

The after-work charter

Brickell's signature slot is the weekday evening: board at 5:30 or 6 at the Venetian Marina, catch the last full light on the skyline loop, and anchor off Monument Island as the towers switch on.

Two to three hours, BYOB, back at the dock by 9 — an off-site, a client close, or a date that beats any rooftop in the neighborhood. Weeknight availability is meaningfully better than Saturdays, and the water inside the bay settles once the afternoon breeze drops. Friday evenings can add the Bayside fireworks when the schedule cooperates.
