What's included in a Miami yacht rental

Every charter comes with a licensed captain and crew, local fuel for standard cruising, life jackets for every guest and the required safety gear, coolers stocked with ice and water at the dock, Bluetooth sound for your playlist, and cleaning before and after. None of these are add-ons. You bring your own food and drinks, or add catering at checkout. Optional extras are priced at checkout: jet skis, water toys such as SEABOBs, e-foils, paddle boards and floating platforms, birthday, bachelorette, proposal and romantic setups, a photographer, videographer or drone footage, and DJ and lighting gear. No hidden fees: every cost is named before you book, and applicable tax shown at checkout.

Miami yacht rental prices

Live starting prices on the smallest yachts in the fleet: 2 hours from $400, 3 hours from $500, 4 hours from $650, 6 hours from $950 and 8 hours from $1,300.

Prices climb with length, age and finish, so a 40 to 60 foot yacht costs more than a 26 foot day boat, and the largest motor yachts in the 25'–135' fleet sit at the top of the range. Each yacht's listing shows its own price for each duration. Weekends and holidays book first, so they are the dates to lock in early. The price on the listing is the charter price; extras are added only when you choose them, and applicable tax shown at checkout.

Where you'll cruise

Most 4-hour Miami charters run a south-loop: Government Cut → Star Island → Hibiscus & Palm Islands (the celebrity homes route) → Stiltsville → Key Biscayne sandbar for swim time.

Where you board

Most yachts board on the Miami River at Regal Marina and River Landing, minutes from downtown and Brickell.

Others leave from Miami Beach Marina in South Beach, the quickest run to open water, or from Bill Bird Marina in Haulover Park, closest to the Haulover sandbar. The exact dock address is on each yacht's listing and in your confirmation. On weekdays, bigger yachts up the Miami River plan start times around the river bridges, so the available start times on the listing already account for them.

Seasons on Biscayne Bay

Miami charters run all year. Demand peaks from March through July, and December brings holiday visitors; September through November is the quietest stretch, with the most open dates.

Summer afternoons can bring quick thunderstorms, so morning and sunset starts are popular.
