Use Case

Birthday Yacht Rental Miami

The birthday that doesn't need a group chat to organize: a birthday yacht charter with pickup at noon, the Star Island loop, two hours at the sandbar for swimming, jet skis and cake, sunset run home. Add birthday décor set up before you board and a jet ski hour off the swim platform — every price is listed before you book, nothing left to coordinate. Rental or charter, the word doesn't change the day: BYOB is standard, decorations are encouraged, and a USCG-licensed captain runs the water so you can run the party.

Priced before you board

The charter price covers the boat, the USCG-licensed captain and crew, and the fuel — the parts that make the day run.

Décor staged before boarding, the jet ski hour, and catering are add-ons you toggle at booking, each showing its price up front, so whoever is organizing sees one honest total instead of a settlement negotiation at the dock. The only money that changes hands on the water is crew gratuity — typically 18–20%, and it goes to the crew, not the company.

Birthday must-knows

Cakes are welcome — we provide a cake knife and plates.

Candles can be lit briefly for the photo, then blown out. Glass is fine on most 60'+ yachts. Speakers handle Spotify/Apple Music via Bluetooth — bring your party playlist.

Best yachts for birthdays

Under 30 birthdays usually pick the 50–60' Sea Rays / Sundancers (party feel, big sun pad).

30–45 birthdays trend toward Azimut and Lazzara flybridges (more salon space, A/C, dining table for cake). 50+ milestone birthdays often go big on a 100'+ yacht with full catering.

A birthday on the bay, hour by hour

Noon: board to décor already up and the playlist already on.

12:30: Star Island loop while the first round goes around. 1:30: anchor at the sandbar — swimming, paddleboards, the jet ski hour, and cake on the aft deck with the candles lit for exactly one photo. 3:30: slow cruise home through the islands with the group draped over the bow. 4pm: dock. The evening version runs 4–8pm and trades the sandbar for golden hour and the skyline switching on — better for milestone birthdays that end at dinner.

Your birthday is on a real boat

A birthday has a fixed date, which is exactly what makes cut-rate listings risky: when an unlicensed boat gets stopped — and in Miami they do — there's no second Saturday to fall back on.

Every charter is managed through a real calendar and run by a USCG-licensed captain, and your deposit locks a real slot the moment it's paid. If weather or a mechanical issue prevents safe departure, the Perfect Day Guarantee gives you the choice: rebook free on any open date, or take every dollar back.

Frequently asked

Absolutely — the captain stores it in the galley fridge until cake-cutting time. We provide plates, forks, and a knife. No glitter or confetti decorations though (Florida law).

12pm–4pm for daytime + sandbar. 4pm–8pm for sunset birthdays (more dramatic photos, golden-hour skyline). 6pm–10pm for night cruise + Bayside fireworks (Friday/Saturday).

We don't bake the cake, but we'll connect you with our preferred Miami bakery (deliver to dock morning-of) or our caterer for a full cake + dinner package.

Miami rain is usually a 20-minute visitor, not a cancellation — captains route around passing showers all summer. If conditions genuinely prevent safe departure, the Perfect Day Guarantee kicks in and you pick the remedy: move the party to any open date at no cost, or take a full refund and plan something else.

The same as standard charters — from $650 for 4 hours, with a 4-hour day on a 50'–60' yacht around $1,450–$2,900 before tax and gratuity. Birthday-specific costs are the optional add-ons: décor, the jet ski hour, catering or cake delivery, each with a listed price at booking. Twelve guests splitting a 4-hour charter on a 50'–60' yacht puts the day under $250 a head.
